Profile of the Master Alumnus

The professional trained by this Program will be able to work with the issues of the northern region of the country, as well as those presented by the municipality of Araguaína and its surroundings, based on two parameters: a macro, considered the identification of his/her historical-geographical and natural studies and his/her possible interpretations and; a micro, related to the local and popular demands of the urban and/or rural zones.

An alumnus of the course will also be able to contribute to the discussions related to public and social policies at the governmental level in the federal, state and municipal spheres, being part of civil society or third sector (NGO), and to exercise a role as a teacher of higher education in a critical and active way in the local community, being able to think about their actions in relation to teaching, research and extension.
